Should I sell my Hot Wheels or hang on to them?
A couple of years ago I bought a box of hot wheels at a yard sale. I have approximately 50 hot wheels that are unopened, in the package, in mint condition. Every now and then I stumble across them and look up their value. They don't seem to be increasing all that much. I'm wondering if hot wheels generally appreciate down the road or if it would be better to try to sell them now? I'm kind of in a tight spot for cash.
By the way I have been pricing them by comparing them with hot wheels on these sites:
http://hot-wheels-world.com/ (ebay listings)
http://www.hallsguide.com/hotwheels.html (price guide?)
I say keep em hot wheels are priceless i have about 250 hotwheels still new in the box too from when i was a kid....selling them will just bring yes some cash but hot wheels are still selling in stores dont be so quick to sell...

Hmmm. I was able to find iTouch 2.22 (v2.1 is not available, it seems) for Windows 98 through XP on the Logitech website within about 3 minutes. The QuickStart Guide is also available in PDF form. Since you asked that we not send you there, however, I'll not post the link; my only suggestion would be to use Google.

It's hard to know how much you can get for a specific item (or group of items) since if a person really wants it, they can bid it up past what anyone might guess. However, I'd caution you against selling ANY merchandise that might be bootleg on eBay. They were hit by a serious lawsuit about a year ago, and have cracked down tremendously (they were always tough about it) on any items that aren't authentic. Just a word of caution...
Why won't my Keyless remote program with my Silverado?
I just bought a 2001 Chevy w/out a remote... But recently purchased one from a notable keyless remote dealer via EBAY. When I attempt to program the remote it gathers every step except the FINAL actual programming... I was sure the 2001 Chevy Silverado should come equipped with a keyless entry system... I can even valet the alarm below the steering wheel to beep on and off... But when programming I just doesn't follow through with the final step. Please help... Here is the programming guide I've been using:
1. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder - do not turn ignition switch.
2.Press and hold the DOOR unlock switch (This is the switch on the door, NOT the remote).
3. While holding the DOOR lock switch in the unlock position, cycle the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF ON, OFF. (2 TIMES)
4. Release the DOOR unlock switch. The doors will lock and unlock one time to confirm the program mode is actuated. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Simultaneously press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button on one key less remote for approximately 15 seconds, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the programming of that transmitter.
6. Repeat the previous step to program up to four transmitters. Reprogram any existing remotes at this time as they have been erased.
7. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (one more click forward) position in order to exit the keyless entry transmitter mode.
Sorry... After turning the key on/off the car lock and unlocks (stating it is in program mode.) But when I hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the remote it does not lock/unlock the doors confirming the program successful. I'll hold it down over a minute and it will never complete that final step. The remote has a battery... I can't figure out why else it won't.
Your programing instructions are correct for your 2001 silverado. Two things you can do to help correct your problem. One replace the battery in the remote and try to program you never know if the battery on a remote is dead. Two if after replaceing the remote battery it fails to program please stop by your local chevy dealers service dept.Ask the shop foreman to test the remote you have to make sure its sending a good signal. The dealer has a kent moore tester for remotes. There should be no cost to check your remote. You can also have the parts dept check the number on your remote to make sure its the correct part number.Best of luck.
